We loved our stay at Chaba Cabana! The rooms are a little dated and the bed a little hard but other than that everything was wonderful! We found the location perfect as it was far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of cheweng but also only a 10 mins walk down the beach to get to anywhere! We spent majority of our time by the pool which always had beds available and had a wonderful view of the beach! The staff were so amazing too, always happy to do anything to please the guests! Also their bar makes the best Pina Coladas in Samui. (Note: if you aren’t able to walk up many stairs, request a bottom floor room or deluxe villa as there is no elevator)

Chaba Cabana staff are very polite, helpful and worked hard to provide a beautiful holiday experience.The room was clean and decorated in a "Thai Style".It was a bit rough around the edges in the bathroom in terms of the tile grouting, but this didn't negatively impact on the holiday in any way.If you take a lot of clothing on holiday with you then you will need extra hangers but the food , including the room service food was very nice, but not very spicy.The breakfasts were good and had a different Thai dish available everyday.The gardens are beautifully kept and the Hotel is situated on a beautiful sandy beach.The area of Cheweng has a lot of nightlife and is in easy walking distance form the hotel although with the heat it is tempting to get a cab.A stroll along the beach is much quicker than walking out on the main road.

Beautiful tranquil place to be right on the beach at north end of Chaweng close enough to walk to town and loads of beach restaurants. Third floor rooms have beautiful views and the staff are super super nice. 2 pool areas and lovely bar with outdoor pool table.

A great surprise - a lovely restaurant

We had walked past this restaurant every day along our beach walks and on our last night my husband and I decided to eat here. Lovely friendly welcoming staff. We enjoyed a cocktail and then some wine and good prices. Our table was on the front balcony/veranda area overlooking the ocean. A perfect night with a very slight breeze - very romantic!! For my main I ordered a delicious chicken dish stuffed with spinach in a lovely sauce and roasted cherry tomatoes. My husband ordered their Duck breast and loved every mouthful. Our dinner was very well prices (food and drinks) and it was a shame we discovered it on our night in Koh Samui.

I can compare this resort with others only from an aesthetic point of view, I'm sure of equally beautiful resorts there will be dozens, but certainly if I return to SAMUI the CHABA would be our first choice again. Thanks to all the staff.
